We are trained to look at the physical and ignore or at the very least down play other attributes of the people we meet.  More significantly, we are trained to approve, accept and love ourselves or NOT according to very physical cues that we see in our mirror.  Weight issues is a symptomatic issue.  The causes of weight gain or loss are usually to do with a disconnection with ourself.
